NeuroDevelop Program

NeuroDevelop supports neuroscience research excellence at Western.  Supported research teams gain the tools and guidance needed to tackle complex research questions and respond to interdisciplinary funding calls. WIN provides in-kind support for team-building events, grant development for major funding opportunities, and internal community engagement. The program especially prioritizes non-Tri-Council funding, such as Horizons Europe, the Weston Foundation, Raynor Foundation, and others.

Adaptable Support for Major Funding Opportunities

NeuroDevelop helps interdisciplinary teams respond quickly to large funding calls, offering guidance on grant development, team coordination, and strategic planning. We also regularly advertise calls for upcoming major funding opportunities, ensuring researchers have early access to WIN resources and expertise. By combining responsive support with proactive opportunities, NeuroDevelop equips teams to pursue high-impact research with confidence.

Eligibility

The Western Institute for Neuroscience’s NeuroDevelop program is designed to build and strengthen vital connections amongst Western researchers. Eligible teams must be comprised of Western faculty members from different disciplines.  External partners are encouraged where appropriate for the funding call.
