CareFIT

CareFit is a NeuroConnect funded research team creating brain‑health programs for caregivers of people with dementia. Using a community‑centered approach, they develop and test exercise, wellness, and social activities in collaboration with care partners and local organizations.

kNOw-PAIN

KnowPain is a collaborative research team focused on unraveling the complex biological, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions of pain. Their work unites researchers, clinicians, and patient partners to deepen our understanding of pain and drive innovations such as a chronic-pain registry for Southwestern Ontario.

Improving Sleep

Via Phase-Locked Auditory Stimulation in Patients with Amnestic Mild Cognitive Impairment.

Sleep is important for brain health and for cognition.  This project aims to investigate whether the use of PLAS can improve sleep, memory and other aspects of cognition in older adults with and without amnestic mild cognitive impairment.

Brain Health Care Canada Training Platform

The Brain Health and Cognitive Impairment in Aging (BHCare) Training Platform is a national initiative aimed at developing the next generation of leaders in brain health, aging, and cognitive impairment.
