NeuroDevelop Program
The Western Institute for Neuroscience (WIN) has developed the NeuroDevelop program to support the creation and strengthening of interdisciplinary research teams at Western.
Teams supported through this initiative will be poised to respond to interdisciplinary funding calls. WIN will work closely with the selected team and provide in-kind staff support for team building events, grant development for large funding opportunities, and support for internal community engagement. WIN prioritizes supporting funding opportunities from non-Tri-Council funders (for example, funding calls from the Weston Foundation, the Raynor Foundation, the Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative, Horizons Europe, etc.).
WIN is committed to nurturing a culture of collaboration and innovation within WIN. By bringing together experts from diverse fields, from both within and external to Western, we can leverage complementary strengths and perspectives to tackle complex problems more effectively.
The Western Institute for Neuroscience’s NeuroDevelop program is designed to build and strengthen vital connections amongst Western researchers. Eligible teams must be comprised of Western faculty members from different disciplines. External partners are encouraged where appropriate for the funding call.
